What started as a duo has blossomed into a thriving community of thousands. The CLEARSTEM Girl represents someone with a dynamic, multifaceted approach to modern holistic skincare and wellness.
CLEARSTEM was born from the personal struggles of its founders, Kayleigh Christina, and Danielle Gronich, who both battled severe acne and found little relief through conventional treatments. Kayleigh, a Certified Holistic Nutritionist, developed cystic acne in her mid-twenties. After numerous failed treatments, she sought help from Danielle at the San Diego Acne Clinic. Danielle, known as The Acne Guru®, identified over 12 acne triggers in Kayleigh’s lifestyle. Within two months, Kayleigh's skin was clear, and she was free from any acne scarring.
Danielle, known as The Acne Guru® and a Licensed Clinical Esthetician, had her own struggles with acne and underwent multiple unsuccessful treatments, including three rounds of Accutane. Her determination to find real solutions led her to become an Acne Specialist and open the San Diego Acne Clinic in 2014, where she achieved a 98% success rate in treating diverse skin types.
In 2016, frustrated by the limited options in conventional acne and anti-aging products, Danielle and Kayleigh teamed up to create CLEARSTEM.
